The Oregon State Administration seems like it is going to go forward with calling in the police on students. After there have been enough visuals to show us what happens when police descend on campus to clear out encampments. I have already been sickened to my core over the genocide itself: the bodies, the trauma, the gaslighting from any sort of authority figure.
Now the boomerang comes back to the bastion of land acknowledgments, whilst using the tools of the occupier. You can’t have it both ways, admin. So I recommend you cancel calling the police on students. Listen to them. Divest from this genocide. Otherwise “Indigenizing Education” this Thursday is all artifice.
