Something has been blooming on college campuses.

It is like a flower that is very slow to germinate but once it does, everyone takes note. These flowers of resistance have been doing their upmost against the imperial arm of repression here in the United States to call on their campuses to divest from genocide in Palestine.

After seven months (and 75 years) the cracks in the imperial status quo that is the Zionist apparatus have begun to appear. Thank fuck.

I am thankful the on campus movement has finally appeared in such numbers. I want to document that it is happening. Especially since there are no universities left in Gaza .

Their power does not come without cost. They are facing brutalization, trauma, an airborne pandemic if their mask is removed/disability/ being expelled, being unhoused/ being deported. Calling the police on these students means that the risk of universities having students being k*lled by cops is a very real possibility. With these same cops having programs where they are trained by the IOF and then use that training here.

As more solidarity encampments bloom, and as more cops try to call these flowers “weeds” and remove them, where will you be? Will you be sending the flowers water, food, plant supports (Donating to their bail funds, amplifying call to action, sending money to their mutual aid funds, etc).
